In operation with a septic tank, a soakaway efficiently disperses the sewage into the sub soil of the property.
However, installation of a soakaway system is really dependant on the suitability of the site as well as the porosity of the earth beneath the proposed installation location.
Once installed, the system will disperse waste slowly over a period of time - normally around 24 hours.
